I wanted to use the Marquee Messages Photopolymer Stamp Set stamp set to create a fairly masculine card. I decided to create a “dirty wall” for the background so I inked up the center of the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with Smoky Slate Ink and ran it through my BigShot with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock in it.
The Falling Flowers Clear-Mount Bundle (also available in wood, and as a separate stamp set and thinlits) is a wonderful floral bundle that has lots of great images. All but one of the images is the stamp set has a matching thinlit and there are two addition flower thinlits. There is so much you can do!
For some reason (maybe my love of coffee), when I got the Hearth and Home Thinlits, the first card project that came to my mind was this one. I also have a tendency to make life difficult for myself and look for alternate ways to use my supplies, rather than using them as intended. For this project, I also used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies, the Elegant Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and the Gorgeous Grunge Clear-Mount Stamp Set.
