I needed to make a fairly formal thank you card for a friend of a friend that gave us some free professional advice. “Formal” and “elegant” are a little out of my wheelhouse so I was on Instagram looking for ideas. When I saw a card by Becca Neeley (@cards.by.becca), I thought it would be perfect. I don’t have the same supplies she used, so I used the Ruffled Flowers stamps and dies¬†for one card and Scrapbook.com’s For Australia Digital Cut File with my Silhouette Cameo 3. If you follow me on Instagram (@mariascardsandmore) you saw the picture I posted of the goodies I purchased from The Stamp Market. I discovered this fairly new company a few months ago and I love their stamps and dies. I also love the colors in their Color Crush collection, which includes cardstock, inks, refills, ribbons, enamel dots and paper packs. Christmas Gingerbread Cookies Card

Hello! This my second to last Christmas card post. For this cute gingerbread card I used Hero Arts’ Christmas Gingerbread Cookies stamp set and coordinating dies. I stamped the cookies with Versamark ink onto white cardstock, heat embossed them with white embossing powder, and ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks in Tea Dye first and then Vintage photo just around the edges.
