Have you seen the Concord &9th turnabout stamps? They are so cool! They allow you to quickly create a background pattern using colors of your choice. For today’s card I used the Sprinkles Turnabout Stamp Set. You can also purchase a bundle with dies in it. I hope to post a video in the near future but, in the meantime, you can watch the Concord & 9th instruction video for the Mosaic Turnabout stamp HERE. The process is exactly the same.
For my card, I used mostly Stampin’ Up! inks (Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz), cardstock (Thick Whisper White, Basic Black and Pear Pizzazz) and sequins (Iridescent Sequin Assortment). I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp the cupcakes. I could have colored the cupcakes with the SU inks and a water brush but decided to try out my new Arteza Real Brush Pens. I then added a little Wink of Stella to the cupcakes to add a little sparkle. Since I don’t have the die set, I fussy cut the cupcakes.
The gold glitter washi tape is a discontinued item from Stampin’ Up! but I have seen some used recently by other cardmakers. Sorry I can’t give you source.
For the inside of the card, I stamped and cut out one more cupcake and glued it onto the lower right corner.
