Llama Action Wobble Graduation Card

Yes, the llama puns that are so trendy right now are pretty cheesy but they make me smile.  I don’t have any llama stamps or dies and I have mostly been using my Silhouette Cameo to cut vinyl, but I couldn’t resist using this $.99 cut file, called DIPLLAMA, from the Silhouette Design Store to make a loooong overdue 5″x7″ card for my nephew.  The “CONGRATS” is cut with the Double-Cut Alphabet Dies from Concord & 9th.  They are so versatile.

The alphabet dies cut a thin outline and the full letter.  I wanted my letters to be bold so I used both the outline and the letter.  I could have used different colors for the outline and the letter but, in this case, I liked the simplicity of the all-black letters.  I added Stick-It Adhesive Sheet to the back of my black cardstock before die-cutting to make it easy to adhere the letters, especially the thin outlines.

The “ON YOUR” part of the sentiment is from an old, discontinued stamp set.  You can look through your stamps to find the words or just hand-write them.  To add a little fun, I added an action wobble to the back of the llama.  You can get your action wobbles at Scrapbook.com and other online stores.  They come in packs of 6, 12, 48 and 100 (click on a quantity to go to the item).  Here is a short video with the llama in action after a soft flick with my finger.

All the cardstock I used is from Stampin’ Up!: Thick Whisper White, Basic Black, Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake, Real Red, Blushing Bride, Smokey Slate.
