Helloooo! I’m back with another post with goodies from The Stamp Market, starting with a background embossed with the Criss Cross Background Stamp and ending with the Party Pieces stamps and dies. Included in the sets are a small flower and greenery, a balloon, a bow, and another sentiment which I didn’t use here so click on the product links to see all the details.
I started out using my MISTI to stamp the background onto Premium White Cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Ranger Gold Embossing Powder. While I had the ink and powder out, I went ahead and stamped the “HAPPY” and “birthday” sentiments and heat embossed them as well. I then die cut them and set them aside.
I added a little bit of blue shading to a scallop circle with Sea Glass Ink and a blending brush. I attached it to the heat embossed panel. I then stamped and die cut the “string and sticks” (forgive me but I can’t think of a better description, lol) and glued that at the top of the circle with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive, hanging off the top a little.
I stamped the “PARTY” letters with Party Pink, Melon Orange , Citrine, Emerald Isle, and Tropic Teal, and die cut them with the coordinating dies from the set. I glued them over the stamped string, also with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.
I stamped the cake plate with Tropic Teal Ink and die cut it. I also die cut the cake out of Fresh Pink Cardstock, and the three frosting pieces out of Party Pink Cardstock. I attached the frosting to the cake with glue and then layered the cake slightly over the “sticks” with some foam tape. Then I added the cake plate, also with foam tape, slightly overlapping the cake.
To integrate the sentiment and make everything look like a group, I added the “HAPPY” on top of the cake plate with glue, and the “birthday” below it with foam tape.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a great one!
