I started scrapbooking about 15 years ago and, as much as I loved the finished pages (most of the time :)), I found the process really time consuming. I was looking for supplies and ideas online one day and came across a video made by a scrapbooker, showing how she used her scraps to make cards. Whaaat?! That video changed everything for me. I fell madly in love with all things related to cardmaking and scrapbooking fell by the wayside… until I found Project Life. I have made a few layouts with my Stampin’ Up! card sets and embellishment packs and have decided to start sharing my Project Life layouts with you.
These three pages are from a family trip to Mt. Dora, Florida. The pages are not really fancy but that is the point, right? That if you have limited time, you can make simple, quick pages. I used the Good Vibes Project Life Card Collection and the Good Vibes Project Life Accessory Pack (it includes a small stamp set). I like the way the bright colors in the cards complement the colors in my pictures and give the pages a cheerful feel. Everything is from those two products except for the “Happy Happy” and “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” stamps on the last layout. Oh, I also used the Project Life Date It Photopolymer Stamp Set. I hope you can see the foil letters that say “FAMILY TRIP TO”.
I did edit the pages to remove some of my journaling. I wouldn’t want to embarrass anyone (including myself) with my silly comments :).
