Hello, my sweet friends! The Ruffled Flowers stamps and dies from Altenew are not new but I can’t seem to get enough of them. I did not use the dies for this 4″x4″ card, only one of the outline stamps and two of the sentiment stamps.
I wanted the card to be classy and bright so I heat embossed the flowers around the edges of the card front with Versamark ink and Ranger Gold embossing powder. I actually stamped the corners using my MISTI, rotating the 3.5″x3.5″ square of Classic Crest 80lb cardstock. I used Copic markers Y13, Y15, Y17, YG61, and YG63 to color the flowers.
For the sentiment, I used black Versafine ink to stamp the sentiments onto a piece of yellow cardstock that I then diecut with a 1-5/8″ circle die. To add layers, I glued that to a slightly larger circle which I then glued to a gold scallop circle die cut (Stampin’ Up! Layering Circles) from Tonic Harvest Gold cardstock (so three layers total).
To assemble the card, I created a 4″x4″ card base out of 110lb Neenah Solar White cardstock, added a square of Tonic Harvest Gold cardstock (about 3-5/8″x3-5/8″), the stamped panel, and the sentiment. I did not use any foam tape, just glue. I added some little dots of Ranger Gold Stickles to the centers of the flowers for a little more shine and sparkle.
This is such a lovely card, I am not sure I can part with it ;). Thanks for stopping by today!
