Hello! Here is a beautiful card that is sure to brighten any woman’s day. I used the Fabulous Floral Layering Dies with paper from the Color Crush Patterns Paper Pack along with a sentiment from the Mailbox Messages Stamp Set. I think I might actually give it to my Mum (yes, British spelling) for Mother’s Day. I think she will love the soft colors and the lovely flower shapes.
The sentiment is all one stamp so I did some masking to stamp it with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink and The Stamp Market Party Pink Ink . I made this card while out of town and I forgot to take black ink so I ran to the store and got VersaFine Clair which I had never used before. It is a pigment ink so it stamps crisp black and it’s great for use with watercolors.

I did not add any ink to the flower petals since the paper I chose has various shades of pink. I did pay attention to what section of the paper I chose for each petal so the flowers would be darker at the bottom. I used Premium White Cardstock for the flower outlines and added a touch of gold to the centers with my Signo – Gold Uni-Ball Impact Pen. The leaves are die cut from the same white cardstock and from Citrine paper from the Color Crush Solids Paper Pack.

The center panel is cut to 4″x5-1/4″. I matted it onto Gold Glitter Cardstock from Neutrals Glitter Paper Pack from Concord & 9th for a little sparkle and then onto pink paper from the Color Crush Solids Paper Pack.
Thanks for popping in today. I hope you have a great day!
