Today I’m sharing the cards we made at our last shoebox swap. I think technically it should be “shoe box” but in the crafty world we have turned it into one word :-). Unfortunately, three people were not able to make it at the last minute but I still have five cards to share with you. All the products are Stampin’ Up! and I have links to the stamp sets, punches, and scissors below the last card. Please contact me if you have any questions about the other products.
This is Kathleen Inne’s card. The stamp set is Remarkable You. The entire flower is fussy-cut and glued onto the Tip Top Taupe panel. The largest center section and two smaller side sections are also fussy-cut a second time and then applied on top with dimensionals. This is such a classy card!
Marni Mendel’s card features the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set + Balloon Bouquet Bundle. The sparkly balloons are punched out of the beautiful Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.
Jini Merck also used the Balloon Celebration stamp set but chose Happy Happenings for the sentiment. The Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack was used for the little flower on the balloon. The Fringe Scissors easily cut the fringe that runs across the card.
This crumb cake baby card is from Anna Ziller. I love that she thought outside the box and created a card that is clearly for a baby with a predominantly neutral color palette. The stamp set is Zoo Babies and the side is embellished with Linen Thread.
And finally, here is my card. I actually posted a very similar card on my previous blog a while back. I used the Sprinkles of Life stamp set, Cherry On Top DSP, and the Tree Builder Punch.
I hope you have a little time to make some cards this weekend. Have a great one!
