Hello, fellow crafters! Today I am supporting Justine Hovey and her blog hop (justinehovey.com) and Instagram hop (@justinehovey) aimed at ending racism by promoting awareness within the crafting community.
Hello! This is a card that ended up being as different from the original plan as it possibly could have been. It started out as a Print & Cut project for my Silhouette Cameo. I was looking at templates in Microsoft Publisher and came across a birthday poster template called Milestone Birthday Poster. Here is a picture of it.
Hi! Today I’m sharing a card using products from Pretty Pink Posh and Avery Elle. I thought the products had a similar style and coordinated really well. I love this color combination and the Gansai Tambi watercolors were really easy to work with. They are the highest quality watercolors in my collection.
Happy Saturday! How cute are the critters in this Avery Elle stamp and die set called A Merry Little Christmas? I couldn’t wait to make a card with it. I stamped all the animals onto Neenah Solar White Cardstock with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I then colored them with Arteza Real Brush Markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies. You could also use colored pencils or Copic markers for this simple coloring.
I posted these cards on Instagram days ago but technology has not been my friend this week. I was finally able to finish editing the video and uploading it after my internet service came back on last night. There are a lot of young couples in my neighborhood and some of my friends are starting to have grandchildren, so I was in need of a couple of baby cards for baby girls arriving soon. I was originally going to make regular cards but after watching Jennifer McGuire’s video, I decided to create shadow box cards. It was not my first time seeing this type of card, but I definitely had not made one in a long time.
