VIDEO-Hearth & Home Candy Cane Lane Christmas Card

The Hearth and Home Thinlit Dies  are so versatile.  You can make cards of all different types and for all different occasions.  A while back I posted a card where I used the window box as a lid for a to-go coffee cup (click HERE to see that post and video).  Today’s card is a Christmas card using the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper.  It’s such cute paper!  You can use it in pieces or cut out so many individual images.

For this card I fussy cut a gingerbread house and a tree from two of the papers and placed them behind two window diecuts stacked together and mounted on Foam Adhesive Strips.  I adhered a piece of Window Sheet between the window and the Foam Adhesive Strips to simulate the glass.  The background is Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper, which has a little texture and adds a little interest.

The sentiment is from the Oh, What Fun Photopolymer Stamp Set, which is a great set for Christmas tags as well as cards.  I used Versamark Ink and Real Red Glitter Stampin’ Emboss Powder (so glittery!!!) to heat emboss the sentiment onto another piece of Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper.

To finish off the card, I used Read Red enamel shapes from the Brights Enamel Shapes and a little bit of Red Glimmer Paper.
