Are you loving all the rainbow cards out there? I am and, surprisingly, I think these are my first rainbow cards ever. I have made cards with rainbow colors in a row or some kind of pattern but never an actual rainbow.
I filmed the video a while back and I had made the first (larger) card with a freebie die set from The Stamp Market that was not available for purchase at that time so I didn’t film the making of that card. Instead, I duplicated the card in the A2 size using smaller elements. Those larger dies called Jumbo Happy Birthday Dies are now available for purchase (Yay!).
The large letters for the smaller card are from the The Stamp Market‘s Skinny Upper Alphabet dies. I was going to use a “birthday” stamp and diecut from the Party Pieces stamps and dies sets but decided it was too small so I used the Pretty Pink Posh Happy Birthday Script Dies instead. I die cut it out of Party Pink Cardstock for a drop shadow and out of glitter cardstock. My glitter cardstock is discontinued from Stampin’ Up! but you could try THIS PACK from DCWV. I have never tried it but the colors look beautiful. The gold cardstock for this one is gloss effect Harvest Gold Mirror Cardstock from Tonic.
I also used the Outside In Rectangle Dies from Lawn Fawn to die cut this panel, this time using the inside portion. The cardstocks I used are all from The Stamp Market and they all come in the Color Crush Cardstock Assortment (13 colors, 3 of each) or you can purchase each color individually. : Blush Pink ink, Citrine, Leafy, Melon Orange, Party Pink, and Sea Glass. The white cardstcock is their Premium White Cardstock.
I used some old enamel shapes from my stash but, if you don’t have any, you could use little die cut shapes or Nuvo drops in different colors.
